Motivation from Intimidation!
Well I would say we all need motivation and fighting back is a great motivator. I am adding a link to this post that I believe you will find interesting and I find it stupid. Actions like this are a major reason for the demise of our "Education System".
We have as a population given in to Ideologues and powerful groups, and to their ideas of what is correct for the students and lost sight of what needs to be taught. When you read everyday what is being done and taught in our schools it is just plain crazy or at the least silly. I am not going to go there this morning but just think about this, and it makes you wonder if we shouldn't just get back to teaching the skills needed to succeed.
The attached link will take you to an article on Backwoodshome.com. I will be honest in the fact that I have never seen this website until this morning. The following is how a school system fought the teachers union for the right to have a volunteer band instructor. I found the article very interesting in the sense that it motivated people to find solutions to real problems.
I am sure not everyone is interested in the policies and politics of our school system, however I am encouraging you to read it for the lesson of finding motivation in the everyday life situations. Your motivation may also be energizing for education, career, or you homelife.
